Cost: The contractual cost of the construction works was approximately 14 million euros, of which approximately 3.5 million was co-financed by AS Tallinna Vesi for the construction of water, stormwater and sewage pipelines, and 5.16 million by AS Utilitas Tallinn for the construction of district heating and cooling pipelines (amounts do not include VAT).

The large-scale reconstruction of Lastekodu Street will result in a modern urban space with separated traffic routes. Lastekodu Street was completely rebuilt, and the speed limit was lowered to 30 km/h to reduce noise and ensure safety. Raised intersections were built to calm traffic on the street between apartment buildings, and new pedestrian and bicycle paths will be built. In addition, new lighting was installed on Lastekodu Street, benches and trash cans were installed, and many new trees and shrubs were planted.
