TREF Nord was founded in 1997.
The company’s original business name was AS Baltifalt, and its main activity was asphalt paving works.
Since 2011, the company has been part of the AS TREF Group.
After merging with Osaühing TREF Nord, the current business name – Aktsiaselts TREF Nord – was adopted.
Over the years, the company’s core activities have been road and pavement construction, production of asphalt mixtures, and their installation.
In these fields, we have achieved significant results, confirmed by industry recognition.
In 2024, AS TREF Nord was awarded the title of best road builder, and in 2025, we were recognized as the builder of the smoothest road.
In addition, we have proven ourselves as a strong and reliable builder of structures.
We have constructed bridges, viaducts, and eco-ducts, and in 2022, the Transport Administration recognized AS TREF Nord as the best bridge builder.
In recent years, we have also successfully participated as a main contractor in the implementation of Rail Baltica projects.

Although our production bases and offices are located in Tallinn and Pärnu, we operate across the whole of Estonia.
The company employs on average nearly 120 people, about two-thirds of whom are based in Tallinn and one-third in the Pärnu unit.
TREF Nord is a member of the Estonian Infrastructure Construction Association and the Rae Business Association.
